Kathi Leahy at peace

For those that knew her, and even those who didn't personally, we received very sad news about Kathi Leahy (Pureheart). Kathi who had been so very ill for quite some time, passed away last evening.  Kathi had been a very serious researcher who continued until near the time of her death, to research and find valuable material related to breast implants, silicone, and the diseases, and illnesses associated with. She posted much of this material on newsgroups via the alt.support.breast-implant.sisters newsgroup.

She was known and very respected not only for her tireless efforts on behalf of us all, but for her wonderful spirit, and her enormous heart that touched so many of us.  She is going to be so sadly missed!. . .The note from her daughter, Kelli, follows here.

To everyone that loved my mother I regret to inform you  that she passed on at 9:30 Wednesday evening. All of

your thoughts and prayers for her and our family have  been greatly appreciated.  Anyone close enough to attend there will be a viewing  Friday evening, with service Saturday at Merle Hay Funeral Home.

Any flowers and cards would be so appreciated.  I want everyone to know how much she was loved by all.  And it would help my father, sister, and the grandchildren  to see how many people cared for her and how many lives  she touched.  I know that she will be greatly missed. Keep up the good  fight that she believed in so much girls she's proud of you all!  Love and thanks to all!
