Mentors Pending "Controlled Study" if you are so sick from silicone poisoning they won't report

Since my last entry regarding my story, so much has happened, I don't know where to start. My health has deteriorated to the point in which I am pretty much on a first name basis with the local emergency room staff, as I have been there on just about a weekly basis for the past 4 months. I have recently developed within the past 6 months, terrible, migraine headaches (only around my right temple area) and extreme sensitivity to light. I have never before had migraines, in the past. They generally last from 2-5 days.

On a daily basis, I get weird rashes red-purple with a web like pattern over various parts of my body, that come and go and are hot to the touch. I can feel these rashes coming on, and feel flush in the face as if I have a fever.

There have been several recent occasions in which I have suddenly had a burning sensation in my hands accompanied by extreme redness, lasting for a few hours at a time. The only relief I have found for this is to run my hands under cold water.

I also received a letter from my implanting surgeon recently stating that as I seem to have lost confidence in his medical advice, he formally withdrawals as my physician and wishes me the best of luck in the future. How he is allowed to do this is beyond me as I am to be "closely monitored for 5 years" as I am enrolled in a ongoing clinical trial to evaluate the "safety" of silicone gel filled implants. I filed a Medwatch report, which took me a year to get a response that didn't even contain a contact phone number, or name of person's to be contacted. Yet, with the information from this trial (and Inamed's), the FDA is again going to consider possibly putting silicone back on the market to the general public (FDA Advisory Panel Meeting coming up this April). It's unreal to me........

Take Care Ladies,
