A "thank you" from Barbara regarding the question about reconstructive surgery
Myrl,
Thanks again -- and if you will please post this to the women -- I would appreciate it.
To all of you that have worked so very hard to insure that women have the information to make informed decisions about their bodies and lives I send my heartfelt thank you.
I have e-mailed your information to my friend and it is "our" hope that she strongly considers the warning that breast implants are not safe and that they should not be implanted into the human body. I am sure her decision will be difficult for as we all know from our personal experiences the medical community will not provide both sides of the issue to be considered.
We have said, individually and collectively for well over a decade that WE ARE THE PROOF -- STUDY US -- to no avail. Our pleas go unheard and continue to fall on deaf ears of those we trusted to keep us safe have failed us. The FDA has once again made a decision that is not in the best interest of America’s women and families, and are once again allowing women to be used as lab rats.
Again thank you for all you do for all of us...and my warmest regards to all…
