I have filed a separate grievance against each of the doctors listed in this letter. I believe it is about time the AMA and the public be made aware that there are still doctors out there that deny the realities and horrors of silicone poisoning.

I am asking all of you who have been told you were crazy or that silicone doesn’t leak or that you are being overly pessimistic to file a grievance with the AMA and the AMA society of plastic surgeons. Maybe if we flood their offices with complaints there will be something done and women in the future will be listened to and cared for before they get so sick.

I have spent over $80,000.00 cash and been diagnosed with at least 20 different diseases. I have been held in a "blue room" ( room for mentally unstable patients) because they would not listen to me when my implant ruptured and assumed that my sores were self inflicted.

To Whom It Concern;

My name is Faun Hale Kessler and I am a current survivor of Silicone Poisoning. I had reconstructive surgery in January of 1987. I was told that if I maintained them properly by "popping" the bubbles that developed in them daily I would never have to worry. I did this and was very content for 16 years. I was never sick and never had so much as a rash.

On May 7^th2003 I felt my right implant explode. Within 10 minutes of this episode a sack formed in the lower section of my right arm. I went to the emergency room at Barnes Jewish Hospital on May 9^th2003 and waited for 9 hours. Then I was told silicone does not leak. I was then referred to two doctors, one of which was Dr. Alan M. Londe.

On May19^th2003 I once again sat the emergency room and after several hours I called Dr. Londes’ office. I saw Dr. Londe that afternoon.

On June19^th2003 I went to see Dr. Jack F. Ditty, M.D.

On July 10^th2003 I went to see Dr. Dale Furakawa, M.D.

On July 23^rd2003 I went to see Dr. Paul Rottler, M.D., F.A.C.S. (See Attached)

On August 26^th2003 I went to see Dr. Thomas Tung, M.D. (See Attached)

On December9^th2003 I had to go to Cleveland, OH for an ultrasound which showed that there indeed was an explosion on my right side. On December 24^th2003 Dr. Susan Kolb sat waiting for me to arrive in Atlanta, GA. Imagine a doctor who is there at 7:00 pm on Christmas Eve. Dr. Kolb has literally saved my life and the lives of many more women around this country. I have heard that there is a grievance in your office that has been filed against her. I am not sure if this is fact or just hearsay, however if it is fact then I request the right to appear on her behalf. I also request a hearing in which the voices of many of her patients may be heard as well as the voices of other women who have encountered the same resistance to the truth about silicone poisoning when dealing with doctors in their areas who refuse to treat them and send them away to die.

I Charge Dr. Tung with the following violations: AMA / American Society of Plastic Surgeons General Principals Section 1. I, II, IV, V, VI, VIII. Section 2. 1. C… G. 15. M.
