We are receiving dozens of requests for plastic surgeons who are experienced at removing implants en bloc. We especially need names of plastic surgeons who are adept at removing leaking silicone implants, sensitive to the need to remove as much silicone as possible, and also skilled so that the woman is not deformed by the operation. Unfortunately we only have about 10-15 names of surgeons from across the country. None have been recommended in the Washington, DC area, Philadelphia area, New England, Washington state, Oregon, most of the Northwest or Southwest, or most southern states. If any of you can recommend plastic surgeons for explant, based on personal experience or the experience of someone you know well, please let us know so we can share those names with women who desperately need them.

Of course, recommendations for rheumatologists and other physicians who are respectful and effective at treating women with implant problems are also needed.
