Redemption of CAST Step-Up Trust for Dow Chemical Notes Monthly-Pay Step-Up Class A Certificates (CUSIP: 14835RAA0)

NEW YORK -- the Monthly-Pay Step-Up Class A Certificates (the "Class A Certificates") issued by CAST Step-Up Trust for Dow Chemical Notes (the "Trust") will be redeemed.
This redemption is a result of the exercise of the Call Warrants to purchase the assets of the Trust by the Call Warrant Holder and is conditional on receipt of the Warrant Exercise Purchase Price by the Trustee. If the Trustee receives the Warrant Exercise Purchase Price, the Class A Certificates will be redeemed in full on October 3, 2005 at a price of $1,000 plus $0.333333 accrued interest per Class A Certificate.
