We are the Evidence
Hi Kathy and Ladies,
I just found my lab report! I had given my Dr. two samples of phlegm in two separate sterile cups at two separate times. When I had showed her my samples, she said they would test for silicone. Later, when I asked her for the results, she said, "They can't determine the silicone from the silica!" I have since received copies of my Dr's reports, including the Lab work.
My Dr. didn't write in my chart what she had said to me and as far as the Lab work.....It say's on the first report: "Gross: Trace of White Fluid. Cellular Composition - Pulmonary Macrophages - Squamous Cells. Negative for Acid Fast Bacteria; Negative for Yeast, Fungi, and Pneumocystis; Negative for Malignancy!" Then my Dr wrote on the first Lab Report, which by the way was sent to PCA Southeast Tennessee Regional Office in Columbia, TN, "We asked for evidence of silicone, no mention one way or the other?" "Will review specimen again."
The second lab report says the same as the first, except for the notes, which states: "Per Debbie at Dr. Office, Specimen to be Destroyed. Dr Moore unable to Perform Test, He will Destroy after Consulting with Dr. Smithson."
That's it! Karen bites the dust again!
You're right Kathy, "We are the Evidence," but what good does it do, when no one will help you prove it, even when it's staring you in the face!
I no longer have any Trust, Faith or Respect for the Medical Professionals and I never will! They even want to do surgery on me, but I'll end my life before they'll ever put a knife to me! That's how much I trust them!
Uh Oh......am I showing a little anger? Gee I wonder why? Just don't any of you take me personally. All of us are in the same boat. It's the corruption, lies, lack of ethics and years of fighting this issue, just to end up losing everything I've worked all my life for, yet still battling for my SSD (it's only been 8 yr's now) and still battling with Dow!
My, my, my, what a corrupt world we live in!
Well, I guess I've said enough, though there's a whole lot more I could still say! I won't! I'll behave myself! ~:o)
Have a wonderful week-end ladies! 'Cause no matter what, we have each other, we support each other and as sad as this has become, There are many of you who have Blessed and enriched my life in ways you will never know and I would never had known if this atrocity had not brought us together.

We know of only two documented cases - both of the women died. We need lab reports. Spitting on a card and thinking that it is silicone will not do - we have to confirm these occurrence. and we have to do it in a certain medically accepted way. We even have to go beyond that - we would hope that the silicone that is in our bodies can be matched with the implants that were removed from us and confirm the same type of silicone that is being coughed up is the same type that was in our implants.
We can not longer assume that everything that comes out of us is silicone - we must prove it.
I am not trying to be a "Doubting Thomas". What I am trying to do is educating you all to what has to be documented.

Hi Ladies!
Would you please send me a copy also of the lab reports w/ the silicone in the lungs because I have the same problems...The xray shows something in the left lower lobe of my lung, and I have a feeling it's the same as yours. I also cough constantly and bring up the gucky "plhegm", and I'm going to start saving it so I can see if it's crystallized as you said. I was on antibiotics also, and he also has me on a nebulizer 4 times/day along w/ inhalers. Please let me know what I need to do and how/where to send it to be tested. I'd appreciate it.
And, to add more problems, I had a repeat brain MRI, and it came back w/ that angioma in my brain and another problem w/ the internal auditory canal...If anyone has the same problem, please let me know because I know I will be getting a call from my dr at Thomas Jefferson.
