Inamed board gives Allergan deal
Inamed says it has not yet signed the agreement with Allergan. The company said the deal would be completed once it receives notice from Allergan that it is satisfied with an investigation of Inamed's wrinkle treatment Juvederm.
Irvine-based Allergan (NYSE: AGN), best known for its pharmaceutical Botox, has said the merger would allow it to expand its line of wrinkle-reducer treatments.
Santa Barbara-based Inamed (NASDAQ: IMDC) specializes in saline and silicone breast implants.
