 | American Diabetes Alert Day Today is the American Diabetes Alert Day. The American Diabetes Association celebrates annually this one-day call-to-action held on the fourth Tuesday of March to raise the awareness that diabetes is serious and that you can have diabetes and not even know it. The continued rise in the number of people with diabetes in the United States is alarming. Nearly 21 million Americans have diabetes: most of them type 2.
