WASHINGTON (June 26) - As part of their investigation into possible fraudulent practices under Medicaid, House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Billy Tauzin (R-LA) and Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chairman James Greenwood sent the following letter to R. Dale Ross, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Oncology, requesting that the company provide records and information detailing their pricing and reimbursement practices under Medicaid. U.S. Oncology is one of the largest purchasers of oncology drugs nationwide.
