  from Jen Hubley
I have a lot of friends who practice or use at least one type of alternative medicine, including acupuncture, reiki, aromatherapy, homeopathy and yoga. And I admit that until recently, I sort of liked to tease them. (My friend Brian used to practice reiki on his dog, and I thought it looked funny. What can I say?) However, the more I learn about alternative therapies, the more I think it's pretty silly to confine ourselves to conventional Western medicine.
