The information in this website is based on my experience of over twenty years in general National Health Service practice and private practice. I describe what works for me. This is often different from standard texts and may well change as I learn new things. My special interest is in treating fatigue and in preventive medicine. Many diseases are entirely preventable through good diet and nutrition. If you wish to live to 100 - go to the Queen Mother (I want to live to 100) section for details of diet, supplements and tests. Indeed, this is a useful page to visit for any person suffering from almost any disease.

My aim has always been to look for causes of disease and treat by addressing those causes, be they infectious, allergic, nutritional or toxic, or a combination.

I use knowledge from conventional medicine, from naturopathy, herbal and homoeopathic techniques (desensitisation). I am happy to use any method so long as it is effective and safe.

This website gives access to this information and to diagnostic tests (blood tests, tests for infection, nutritional tests, hormonal tests, toxicology etc.) to allow people to diagnose and manage their own medical problems. In addition it allows people to contact me directly.

Tests are listed individually, but some are grouped together - so, for example, I group tests I would commonly do for chronic fatigue syndrome.

Using this website can never replace the attentions of an experienced, knowledgeable and caring doctor. However, many doctors are not familiar with the many tests now available to diagnose the root causes of illness. I am finding out new things all the time. This site must be used intelligently if it is to be used safely becaue not all illnesses can be diagnosed just through tests. For further important information, please read when not to use this website

There are several ways in which this site can be used. To get the best out of it and for a guide to the services I offer through it, please read Using this website.

If you use this site to order tests, then please read Ordering Tests for information on how this is arranged.

For the time being I am only making tests available through this site to UK customers. If there is demand from other countries then I will try to find laboratories in those countries to whom you can send samples and find a network of local doctors qualified to interpret those results.

This website is not complete - it will continue expanding and evolving over many months. Feel free to check periodically what new sections and pages are online.

In the meantime, if there are any tests you would like which are not included in my list of tests, please, send me an e-mail with your request and I shall do my best to arrange that test for you.
