Morning Sickness Remedies
Actress Angelina Jolie, who's due in summer 2006, was reported to have had severe morning sickness. It's estimated that between 50 to 80% of women experience morning sickness, or nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Despite its name, nausea lasts throughout the whole day for many women. It usually peaks by week 9 and diminishes by week 20.

A Canadian study surveyed pregnant women and found that almost two thirds (61.2%) of women used natural remedies to alleviate morning sickness. The three most common remedies used were ginger tea, acupressure wristbands, and vitamins. Learn more about morning sickness remedies.

Chamomile and Warfarin Don't Mix
In a recent edition of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, Montreal doctors describe the case of a 70-year-old woman who developed severe internal bleeding after drinking plenty of chamomile tea for a sore throat and using chamomile skin lotion.
