I am famous (well, among my coworkers, anyway) for having a messy desk. As I type this, I can see three stacks of paper, an overflowing organizer, two notebooks, an assortment of desk toys and a chocolate penguin. (Don't ask.) However, if you ask me some specific document or piece of information, I can find it just as quickly as my neater colleagues. So what is wrong with a messy desk?
