Ex-FDA Chief Lester Crawford to Plead Guilty to U.S. Charges

Oct. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Lester Crawford, the former commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will plead guilty to charges of failing to disclose owning shares in companies subject to FDA regulation, his attorney said.
Crawford, 68, may face as much as six months of jail or house arrest and a fine of $50,000, said lawyer Barbara Van Gelder today in a phone interview.
