Actress Blames Bad Breast Job For Dating Woes"American Pie" star Tara Reid is talking about what she calls her botched plastic surgery.
On the "Today Show" on Wednesday, Reid shared her story about breast implant problems that she says were so bad her dates told her to "turn off the lights."
And Reid claims liposuction was excruciating and left bumps all over her stomach.
She's telling her story to stop rumors and to help educate girls about the risks of surgery.
Reid, 30, first went public with her plastic surgery woes in an interview with US Weekly magazine.
She told the magazine that she had a joint breast-liposuction operation in 2004.
"I got my breasts done for the first time because my breasts were uneven. ... I figured, I’m in Hollywood, I’m getting older, I’m going to fix them," Reid said.
"Guys I was dating would be like, ‘What’s wrong with them? They look really bad. You know, you should really get them fixed.’"
Reid had an operation last month to correct what she claimed were problems from the 2004 operation.
The actress has appeared in several movies and has a recurring role in the NBC TV series "Scrubs."
