Linda's response to the bias article on Dow Corning and Breast Implants!

I am sick to death of editorials that can't get the facts straight on anything concerning this issue. If your going to open your mouth at least get the figures right. First to date only approx 70,000 have filed claims not 170,00. And to date very few women have been paid a dime out of poor dows money. The claims office, is slow and it takes them longer than a kindergardener to look over a claim. Dow has NOT paid out over 3 billion to anyone since that date in 1998, then didn't even come out of hiding under Chapter eleven until the year 2004, NOT 1998. All poor Dow Corning does to have to get its 3.2billion back is go to the bank because it is still in it. Lord knows they haven't paid the women they mutilated, made sick and killed. Lets just slip all of us under the rug and forget and start this whole process over with the expermentation of future women. Me thinks it's deja vu, yup lets go back to the 1960's cause that is exactly just what happened.

Regardless of whether or not these implants cause disease, in which case they do, if they had bothered to look at those of us who were affected whose medical records are sealed so no one will ever know the extent of their mass murder, they MANUFACTURED A FAULTY PRODUCT. Or they could even go back and look at Dow Corning and Dow Chemicals own "studies" it performed on animals in the late 60's and early 70's. But no, lets not do that, lets not get at the truth cause it is much easier for someone to write an editorial that has not bothered to educate themselves about the matter. But then again why should they when they get paid for knowing nothing.

Yes, congress needs to launch an investigation into the FDA and it's under the table money, and see just who in this country is being paid, because it sure is not women that were affected by their manufacturing of silicone implants.

I've run away to join a different circus.
