FACT IS & it is a fact that the FDA, IOM, NCI, NIH, breast implant companies and plastic surgeons fail (at their free will ) to accept in order to uphold their oath of First, do no harm --the FACT IS:

*** Silicone breast implants and other silicone implants have *proteins* that accumulate on the surface of breast implants/other various silicone implants AFTER implants are in the body. Silicone is silicone, so the so-called NEW cohesive gel breast implant will NOT be exempt from protein accumuation on the surface of their implants.

Then factor in (a SCIENTIFIC FACT KNOWN FOR MANY YEARS ) that PROTEIN EXCESSES are common in many diseases, primarily those that STIMULATE THE IMMUNE RESPONSE like lupus, myeloma/cancers, RA, multiple sclerosis, sarcoidosis, scleroderma, other cancers, other diseases of autoimmunity that may present as classic disease or disease-like.

Concern about PROTEIN & silicon is a very known scientific knowledge in the ART of MEDICINE...the link to Causation of Silicone is the fact that protein accumulates on the surface of silicone implants and PROTEIN EXCESSES are COMMON in many diseases, primarily those that stimulate the immune response.

This is CAUSATION ....protein is the problem, which protein is found ON THE SURFACE of silicone breast implants and other silcone implants....which this concern, (in my above e-mail) is something I have had massive concern about since the very early 1990's.

Women's health needs a PROTEIN FREE breast implant...minus silicone...if a protein FREE breast implant CAN NOT BE CRAFTED/TAILORED to genetics to avoid immune reaction, then one needs to better spend time/money on crafting and tailoring tissue with stem cells into breast implant of sorts that will have good blood supply....THIS IS WHAT WOMEN's health needs....

WE MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT NEED plastic surgeons placing SILICONE breast implants (that has protein concern) within the human body to EXERT the human body....and allow me to remind EVERYONE...the FDA HAS APPROVED **PROTEIN ACCUMULATING** Silicone breast implants to be placed into women....so the FDA APPROVED PATIENTS TO EXERT, "turn on " their immune response.....

This most certainly is NOT upholding one's oath of First, do NO harm....as there IS Causation of Silicone because there is scientific knowledge of **protein problems with silicone**.
