Dow's Andrew Liveris takes over as ACC's Chairman of the Board
ARLINGTON, Va., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Chemistry Council (ACC) today announced the election of Andrew N. Liveris, chairman and chief
executive officer of The Dow Chemical Company, as its new Chairman of the
Board. It also announced several newly elected Officers, Committee Chairmen
and members of the Board.
ACC President and CEO Jack N. Gerard stated, "American Chemistry is the
enabler of modern life in all capacities, from advanced medical
technologies to clean drinking water. The Chairmanship of Andrew Liveris
marks an era of vision at ACC. Our new leadership is in place and composed
