Investigators are trying to determine whether skeletal remains found in northeast Georgia are those of a missing Lilburn woman.
Franklin County authorities said the remains were found May 13 near Georgia 320. They appear to be from a woman between 30 to 50 years of age who had breast implants.
Investigators may be able to use the serial number on the breast implants to determine if they once belonged to Leslie Adams.
Adams, 40, was reported missing in October, 2005. Officers found a shell casing and blood in her apartment.
It will take the Georgia Bureau of Investigation about two months to do tests to identify the remains.
