I was one of those college students who packed on the so-called Freshman Fifteen (or ten, in my case), but this had as much to do with what I was drinking as it did with what I was eating. Sipping red wine might have been a better idea than drinking beer. But, it seems, there are health benefits to drinking both--in moderation, of course.
