QuickHealth partnering with Wal-Mart
All - I continue to hear from many of you regarding difficulty in getting health care, or being shut out because of health insurance premium costs. A couple readers have sent me links and information about Wal-Mart's "QuickHealth" clinics, inside some Wal-Mart stores.
I understand that Target and some other stores offer these quick low cost clinics as well.
The local news provided a cost sheet for various services (averaging $49.00 for a doctor's visit), and costs for a number of lab services.
In addition to the services being quite a bit faster than sitting in an emergency room all day for minor ailments, these may be an avenue for the uninsured to explore.
Here are a a combination of links I have located, and other's have also provided regarding these clinics, and Wal-Mart's partnering with QuickHealth.
