After treatment for Estrogen-receptor positive breast cancer, you may need to take hormone therapy for five years, to prevent recurrence. Last week I talked about Tamoxifen, a widely used estrogen suppressor. This week, it's Aromasin's turn for the spotlight. Both drugs prolong your survival after primary treatments, such as chemo and radiation, are completed.
