Responses to the Flu Shot question
I did not get swollen Lymph nodes from the flu Shots ever but I certainly did from a Silicone Granuloma that was the result of a ruptured Implant and risidule silicone left after the removal of the implant. There was 6 lymph nodes removed along with the granuloma.

Anyway, a couple of days later, both of my armpits became painful and swollen, and I also told my husband I am hurting like hell there...
On the 23rd of this month, I had my appt w/ my gynecologist for my annual pap smear and told him that I am hurting under both arms, so he checked me as he always does when he checks your breasts, said I'm ok...I'm having my mammorgram and dexascan for my bone density on the 7th of Nov..
I find it interesting that Anna wrote about this..Has anyone else written you w/ the same complaints?

Hi Anna,
When I got my pneumonia shot this year in the right arm, the lymph nodes were tender and a little swollen, but not much and the soreness and tenderness went away in a few(2) days. That is the side they found silicone in the lymph nodes. The left arm go the flu shot and it only got sore. So, I think it has to do if they removed any lymph nodes or how the person reacts. I never had this happen before and I had both sides, left and right, rupture. Only side that showed silicone in the lymph nodes years later was the right side. Left was the worst rupture. (I also used the arm off and on but not overly to help keep the soreness down and limber it up some, plus put warm compresses on the shot areas.)
Hope this helps, Joyce

Hi Myrl,
I've had no ill effects. I think it was the first of the month or so. I only had one year that I had some discomfort.
