The United Nations has appointed a New Zealander to lead a project to remove Agent Orange from severely contaminated areas of Vietnam.
Dr Ron McDowall is an engineer with a background in handling dangerous, hazardous, and toxic chemical waste. He is currently a senior lecturer at Auckland University's Business School Dr McDowall will design a $75 million project to identify the best technology to use to decontaminate dioxin hot spots.
