Bristol-Myers Appoints Lacy to Board

NEW YORK -
Pharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. said Tuesday it appointed former Sears Chief Executive Alan J. Lacy to its board, increasing its board size to ten.
Lacy is a senior adviser to private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners L.P and was formerly chief executive and vice chairman of department store company Sears Holdings Corp. (nasdaq: SHLD - news - people )
He will serve as an independent director on Bristol Myers' audit committee.
Bristol-Myers makes products such as heart disease drug Plavix.
