Which American Cities Lead With Number of Cosmetic Surgery Procedures |

A survey of America’s vainest cities in Forbes Magazine in relation to residents and plastic surgery found that the top ten cities were:
1st - Salt Lake City, Utah
2nd - San Francisco
3rd - San Diego; Miami; San Jose – California
6th - Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee
8th - Virginia Beach – Virginia; New York; Los Angeles
The statistics were collected by excluding persons under 18 years old and other children who had reconstructive cosmetic surgery. The survey found that there were six plastic surgeons per 100, 000 persons in Salt Lake City, which came out in a surprising number one position. Information Resource, the company that was used to collect the information, also found that residents in Salt Lake City spent more on cosmetics at grocery stores than their peers in similar size cities.
The survey looked at the leading cities for cosmetic surgeries and spending on beauty products.
