I read an article recently about how 1 in 5 homes this holiday season will be burglarized.

This really got me worried after some research these are some of the statistics that I found.

1) 1 out of every 5 homes will have a burglary, fire or carbon monoxide poisoning over the next 6 years.*

2) 9 out of 10 convicted burglars agreed that they would avoid a house protected by an alarm system.**

3) An alarm system makes your home 3 times less likely to be burglarized.

4) Fire kills more Americans than all natural disasters combined.

5) 1 out of every 3 homes will have a medical emergency this year After a few other articles, I came across a site that offered a home security system at no cost.

I've done all that I for my family and I feel a lot more safe when I'm home or away.
