Give BCERA a Fair Vote
The Breast Cancer and Environmental Research Act (BCERA) would authorize the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to make peer-reviewed grants to collaborative centers to study environmental factors that may be related to breast cancer. This bill was conceived of and shaped by NBCC. If the environment is causing breast cancer, we need to know. NBCC is urging anyone and everyone who cares about fighting breast cancer to contact Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D NV) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R KY) and urge them to bring BCERA to the Senate floor for the fair vote it deserves.
