Amazing Grace-Bless, Bless!
As you all know, I am selling off most of my belongings. Well, it truly is Amazing Grace, I am meeting the loveliest of people responding to my sales ads. I decided to be kind to myself and set it up as an ongoing estate sale with people calling for an appointment. The phone has been ringing off the hook this evening after posting a large estate sale ad. Before this, I have sold something every day - so my prosperity Mind Movie is certainly working. Everyone who has come has bought, thank you very much! This morning, a woman came to buy a dresser and before she came, I went into the garage to get a double box to empty the dresser - visualizing it sold and that person really enjoying owning it. I was busy dusting and polishing it after removing my belongings. Then the woman came, gave me the money and went to get her friend's van to come back and get it. I could not 'feel' Queenie. I kept calling her, but she was nowhere to be found. The woman returned and I helped her load up the dresser and the drawers into the van. Again, I kept calling Queenie, decided to vacuum where the dresser had been next to one side of my queen bed. So I went out to the garage to get the vacuum cleaner and suddenly, from behind the door from my office into the garage, Queenie was meowing, boy was she maaad - she must have slipped into the garage when I went in to get the box for my belongings and got locked in! Sheesh, she had been in the garage for hours and I had not heard her! So I put her on my shoulder and apologized, reminding her that the garage is NOT a place I want her - she cries to go in there because there are mice. So I carried her on my shoulder, soothing her as I walked, into the bedroom. I finished vacuuming while she had some treats. She was sacked out, totally exhausted and still is. I got the vacuum and vacuumed where the dresser had been and went to put the vacuum back, stepped on something on the mat in front of my office entrance door - looked down and screamed. Queenie had killed a mouse and placed her treasure right in front of the door to the office.
Well, to make a long story short. I am whooped, got another phone call for another appointment while writing this - so you will not be hearing much from me for the next few days or so, I had a dream last night and woke up knowing I should list the expensive stuff, - so I did. What an exciting adventure - don't know where I am going, what Queenie and I will be taking with us...only that this is a clean sweep except for my creative projects.
Here is a copy of part of my ad, of which I have four photographs, one of my autographed Doobie Bros. Guitar, one of the silk vintage oriental carpet, and one of the large brass tray coffee table.
